SAE Split Flanges
SAE split flanges are components used to connect pipes or other elements in oil-hydraulic systems; they are conforming to the standards of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Split flanges are designed to work together with adapters to create a complete connection.
Technical characteristics of SAE split flanges
SAE split flanges are half flanges, designed to be used in pairs. Each half-flange has half of the holes needed to fix it, and when two half-flanges are assembled, they form a complete flange. They are made in carbon steel or stainless steel, to ensure durability and ability to withstand high pressures. They allow flexible installation assembling and disassemble components of a system. They can reduce maintenance time since there is no need to disassemble entire sections of piping to make repairs or replacements.
